Tobacon Hot Springs, Arenal Volcano
Sea, sand and sun are three words that best describe Guanacaste province and all that it has to offer. With miles of endless beaches to enjoy, this province is unique from the rest of Costa Rica. World class resorts, amazing surfing and beautiful sunsets all make it worth coming here. A top-notch tourist paradise, you also get to visit some gorgeous national parks and nature reserves in this region as well. The Parque Nacional Santa Rosa, the Parque Nacional Rincon de la Vieja and the Marino Las Baulas National Park are all wonderful places to tour with the entire family.

There are a number of world-class spas in Guanacaste to spoil yourself in. Located at different places all across the province, these spas offer a wonderful respite from all your travels as you unwind with soothing body massages in some of the most incredible locations. Many of these spas are situated right along the beachfront and provide some stunning views as the sun sets over the Pacific Ocean. While many of Guanacaste’s hotels and resorts have their own spas, there are also a number of day spas in the province as well.

Hotel Punta Islita is a superb luxury resort in Guanacaste, which not only offers amazing spa treatments, but fine dining as well. Offering a range of activities for their guests, from water sports to biking, tennis and fishing, this hotel also incorporates the surrounding local community into its development by letting renowned artists come here to work with local villagers to create an incredible outdoor gallery of mosaics and paintings.

Tamarindo, Playa Panama, the Golfo de Papagayo and Playa Conchal also have some wonderful spa resorts as well. Another terrific resort spa in Guanacaste is The Sanctuary Resort and Spa in Marbella near Playa Junquillal.

For those who want to spend some quality time relaxing near Guanacaste’s Rincon de la Vieja National Park, there are a couple of lodges in the area, which offer spas. These mountain lodges offer a rustic lifestyle, while at the same time spoiling you and taking care of your every need.
