Vacation rentals in North Puntarenas are a perfect alternative if you are planning on staying in the region for a long period. A wonderful area to live in, North Puntarenas has a varied and beautiful landscape, with accommodations found high up in the cloud forests or right along the seashore. Rich in natural beauty, this part of the country offers a pleasant climate with a whole host of activities, wildlife and beaches to enjoy.

Easily accessible from San Jose, this area is a great place if you want to be close to where all the action is. Stay in the towns of Puntarenas, Jaco or Quepos, where you can enjoy some fine dining cuisine along with a plenty of water based sports. On Jaco beach the surfing conditions are superb with consistent breaks all year round. If you like, you can also stay near the Manuel Antonio National Park, considered by many to be one of the most popular parks in the country. Quepos offers some of the best vacation rentals, along with some wonderful offshore sportfishing prospects.
For a more quiet vacation, head south towards towns like Parrita, Dominical, Matapalo and Uvita. Wonderful escapes from the busy city life, these towns offer you a quiet respite in this touristcentric region. Vacation rentals here offer fully furnished apartment, B&B’s, cabins and lodges with marvelous ocean views.
If you’d like to see a different side of Costa Rica, journey north of the province to the towns of Monteverde and Santa Elena. Located amidst breathtaking cloud forests, these two towns have plenty of rentals to choose from. With dramatic mountain panoramas, staying here offers you a more rustic and rural way of life, close to nature.
