Canopy Tour Adrenaline
Canopy tours are an unforgettable adventure for those who want a unique vacation. A truly superb way of touring a forest, canopy tours offer spectacular views as you zip from tree to tree via a series of connecting cables and platforms high above the ground. Letting you explore a rainforest without disturbing it in any way, a canopy tour allows you enjoy nature at its most pristine.

Incredible habitats, rainforests are amazing places to tour. Here you are not only treated to a spectacular array of plant and animal life in their natural environment, but you also get the chance to see nature in its most pure form. Ideal for those who are daring and adventurous, canopy tours are a safe way to get a bird’s eye view of the forest below.

In Alajuela, you can go canopy touring in and around the Volcan Arenal area in towns such as Ciudad Quesada and La Fortuna de San Carlos. Both these places have excellent canopy tour opportunities with plenty of accredited operators in the area. Located at the base of the Arenal Volcano, the canopy tours at La Fortuna are terrific because you can spot a diverse variety of wildlife in the area. Monkeys, birds, sloths and a huge assortment of rare plants can be found here.

In Ciudad Quesada, you can find a wonderful canopy tour near the Termales del Bosque resort. Designed as an eco-friendly destination, this resort offers a wonderful short canopy tour followed by a relaxing soak in the nearby hot springs. Located in a lush gorgeous valley, the Termales del Bosque is a wonderful way to spend a few days amidst nature.

When choosing a canopy tour operator, make sure you ask for references and looked for an accredited canopy tour company in Alajuela. Do make sure that you wear the appropriate safety equipment on and always check your safety and back up harnesses. Canopy tours are a fun filled way to spend an afternoon, however, if you are not careful you can hurt yourself.
