The Bosque Eterno de Los Niños or the Children's Eternal Cloud Forest Reserve is run by the Monteverde Conservation League, which is a non-profit organization located in Monteverde, North Puntarenas. A private nature reserve of 22,000 hectares, this park was created to protect a threatened forest in the Tilaran Mountain Range.
Located in Monteverde, the Monteverde Conservation League was founded in 1986. Created to promote reforestation projects in the Monteverde area, this non-profit organization also assists farmers from the area by helping to increase their productivity through sustainable methods that do not damage this region.
The Kids Saving the Rainforest is a non-profit organization in the Manuel Antonio area. This initiative was developed to get children involved in conservation, by helping to save the rainforests of Costa Rica. Donations are accepted by this organization, which asks children to sponsor monkey bridges and adopt rainforest trees.
