Quiet and tranquil, Heredia is a wonderful escape from the grime and traffic of San Jose city. The pace of life is much slower out here and the weather is excellent, making this region of the country a much sought after place to live in. Heredia sits just 11 km from the capital in the Central Valley and this close proximity to San Jose only adds to its value.
