From transportation details to hotel stays, excursions, airport transfers and meals, a travel agency can map out an entire vacation for you, while you sit back and enjoy the sights and sounds that Guanacaste has to offer. Bilingual tour guides, day expeditions, and multi-day trips, a travel agency can arrange it all, depending on the kind of vacation you want.

Another good idea is to use the service of a tour company. A great benefit in terms of avoiding stress and enjoying a hassle free holiday, tour companies plan out your entire vacation for you from your flight details right down to all your side trips and activities. They offer you a unique insight into the region you are visiting, while at the same time taking you to all the touristy destinations found in the area.

If you want to be socially active, there are also a number of non-profit organizations operating in Guanacaste at the moment. By collaborating with local schools and other organization CEPIA hopes to help children and adolescents grow up healthy and strong and able to lead a positive life.

Based in the Nicoya Peninsula, Travel to Teach is another non-profit organization in Guanacaste that lets people traveling abroad volunteer and teach English language classes as well as computer skills to poor parts of the province where little education is provided. On the other hand, LEAPNow is a non-profit NGO that works in Guanacaste by offering various programs for local communities to help the people of the province, including building homes for poor and under privileged families, adult literacy courses and conservation plans such as saving endangered sea turtles.

Guanacaste offers tourists and immigrants a carefree existence amid some of the most stunning and panoramic landscapes in the world.
