Home to the mighty Arenal Volcano activities here include, canopy touring, horseback riding, wildlife watching, inland sportfishing, whitewater rafting and world class windsurfing. After a long day you can relax in the many spas located in this part of Costa Rica.

Caribbean North (w/ Tortuguero)
This region of Costa Rica is famous for its sportfishing and wildlife watching. You can fish out at sea in the Caribbean, or in the many rivers and streams that run here. Tuna, barracuda, guapote and sailfish are all caught in this area.

Caribbean South (w/ Puerto Viejo)
Surfing, diving and snorkeling are all popular activities in the southern Limon. Famous for the Salsa Brava, this region of Costa Rica is a great place to kick back and relax on the stunning beaches with plenty of wildlife watching opportunities.

Central Pacific (w/ Manuel Antonio)
Home to a number of wildlife refuges and reserves, the Central Pacific is home to the most popular national park in Costa Rica, the Parque Nacional Manuel Antonio. Enjoy a wealth of activities here including canopy touring, horseback riding and whitewater rafting.

Central Valley
The verdant and beautiful Central Valley offers plenty of places to tour and explore. Trekking and hiking are popular activities here, with many lovely gardens and parks to relax in.

Monteverde (Area)
Canopy touring is at its best in the Monteverde area, with the cloud forests here superb to explore. Horseback riding is also common with plenty of wildlife watching opportunities as well.

Nicoya Peninsula
Known for its excellent beaches, the Nicoya Peninsula offers some great swimming, snorkeling and diving. Surfing here is also a popular activity, along with horseback riding and a whole host of water based sports.

North Pacific Coast (w/ Tamarindo Area)
In the North Pacific Coast, the surfing is excellent with many lovely quiet beaches to relax on. Tamarindo is the hub of the region and offers a wealth of water based activities for tourists to enjoy.

Osa Peninsula & Drake Bay
The famed Osa Peninsula and Drake Bay offer excellent rainforest hiking and wildlife watching opportunities. In Drake Bay, diving is also a popular activity, while in the south of the peninsula; the surfing is quite good.

San Jose Highlands
With convenient access to San Jose and city life, this part of the country offers some superb touring and sightseeing opportunities. The hiking here is great with numerous bird watching opportunities.

San Jose Metro (w/ Airport Area)
San Jose is ideal for the city lover. Here you can find numerous museums and art galleries to explore. Visit the many shopping malls in town as well as enjoy the countless excellent restaurants and bars on hand.

Southern Costa Rica (w/ Golfito)
Secluded from the rest of the country, Southern Costa Rica offers plenty of exploration opportunities for the intrepid traveler. Lush and gorgeous, the surfing here is also top notch.

Rincon de la Vieja Area
The Rincon de la Vieja area is ideal for the eco-adventurer. Enjoy horseback riding, hiking and wildlife watching as you explore the many volcanoes in this part of Costa Rica.
