Located in Tamarindo in the province of Guanacaste, on Costa Rica's northwest Pacific coast, Agua Rica Diving Center offers Boat Trips for Snorkeling and SCUBA Diving. They also offer PADI certifications and they are an SSI Dealer.

The dives range from 50 feet to 70 feet with mild to moderate currents. One thing that all divers will notice here is that diving in Costa Rica is very different from the usual Caribbean reef diving. Visibility is a lot poorer and there are some noticeably colder thermoclines. The poor visibility is due to higher amount of plankton compared to the Caribbean, but the plankton attracts larger marine animals and if divers come here to see the big ones, they will not be disappointed.

We offer boat trips for SCUBA or snorkeling tours by boat.

We also rent all the equipment to divers that preferred not to carry their own one You can choose between the best brands of 15 full equipments of all the sizes, from XXS to XXL. We also offer fin, masks, snorkels for snorkelers and wetsuits for surfers.

Night Dive - One dive at Cabo Velas , leaving at around 6..00pm to be back at 8.30pm. Boat transfer, Divemaster / Instrucror, drinks and snack included

Snorkeling Trip - 3 hrs boat tour, departure time 11.00am , snorkelling at 2 different locations of Tamarindo area. Boat transfer, guide, equipment ,drinks and snacks inclu-ded

SCUBA Courses

Resort Course - It includes half day of training , pool and theory starting at 3.15pm and Catalinas or Cabo Velas, depending on weather conditions, 2 tank boat dive tour. Training, boat transfer, equipment, Instructor, snacks and drinks included.

SSI o PADI Open Water Diver - Full certification course, 4/5 days of theory, pool anddives. It includes 5 sections of theory, 2 classes in the pool, 4 dives, equipment, boat transfer, manual and certi-fication fees.

Referral Open Water Diver - 2 days of 2 tank dive tour with a total of 4 dives to complete the OWD certification. We need all the paperworks from the Initial Instructor. Everything included

Specialty - It includes academic and open water training for one of SSI or PADI specialties

SSI or PADI Advanced Course - 4 or 5 SSI or PADI specialties

First Aid - First aid course dedicated to scuba

Stress & Rescue - Self rescue and rescue training for divers

Divecon (SSI) /Divemaster (PADI) - The first level of professional divers. Price does not include material and certification fees.
