Bella Vista Lodge offers a unique and authentic experience in Costa Rica. The Lodge is a country house of 80 years old, made ​​of mahogany with a large deck and settled on a simple jungle clearing. Early risers have no need for an alarm clock. Howler monkeys and toucans will do the job. In Bella Vista Lodge there are four bedrooms, each with private bathroom and hot water shower. The lodge also has a restaurant and bar. Customers tend to become friends quickly once they are in the hotel and most prefer not to go into town too often. For social orientation, the Lodge is a marvel. For those who require more privacy and tranquility has 2 cabins on the side of the mountain just below the house. Both have small kitchens and terraces with hammocks. The whole property is very rustic, with no windows. Only screens and blinds. The sea breeze makes it very comfortable throughout the year.

When you walk out on to the expansive balcony and see over 100 miles of the Pacific coast and witness the most breathtaking sunsets you've ever seen, it's hard not to be truly captivated.
The lodge is clean and comfortable with private tile baths and hot showers. The lodge is family owned and operated. They are very friendly and have lived in the area for over 25 years striving to promote ecotourism. We took a horseback tour down to a beautiful waterfall and a ride on the beach. They provided the horses and a very friendly and experienced Tico as a guide.
I can't wait to get back!
