Lovely just lovely. Wonderful staff, yummy food and fun activities for everyone. We stayed 6 nights and were never home sick. It was paradise. The staff was so very friendly and accommodating. The room was simple but clean and the view from the room was breath taking. Their love of nature and animals is infectious. We'd stay again.

Our experience at Lands in Love exceeded our expectations several times over. From the moment we arrived we were taken care of. Alon, Christian, Evert, and Ufredo, are just a few of the staff members that did whatever they could to accommodate us completely. Our room had a very comfy, cozy feel to it. The dense jungle that surrounds the hotel is beyond what we could have imagined in beauty. We weren’t sure about a vegetarian only menu (as we are both carnivores), but we were excited to experience something new and they didn’t disappoint our taste buds. Many of the dishes actually both looked and tasted like meat and we enjoyed every meal. There were so many activities to choose, such as waterfall repelling, ziplining & even bungee jumping. We tried almost everything and had a fantastic time. Everything was arranged and scheduled upon our request by hotel staff including transportation! They just told us the time and pick up location, no hassles or mix ups. That’s what you want on a vacation. We stayed there for six nights and never got bored. In summary – Lands in Love is a huge beautiful resort with tasty food, AMAZING friends (I don’t even want to call them staff members), and super fun activities. We genuinely could not have had a better time. They even have free activities in the lobby such as pool, foosball, and occasionally a live band. We highly recommend Lands in Love to couples, families or just anyone looking to have a blast in Costa Rica. Pura Vida!! We’ll be back for sure...

Hotel is a jewel with plenty to do on premises: hiking in the rainforest, birdwatching. canopy zip lines, zip lines high across the valley, tarzan swings, rafting, horseback riding, rappelling down a waterfall. We stayed here for a week and also used it as a base to travel to Arenal and coffee plantattion. Friendly staff helped us plan trips. Food was very good and restaurant was accomodating to our particular needs or desires. Even our meat lover teenage son was satisfied with the filling and tasty vegetarian menu. Rooms were comfortable, clean, and pretty. I highly recommend it!

After staying one night in San Jose I decided to take off for La Fortuna to see the Arenal Volcano, and stay at hotel near by.

I didn’t imagine, that on my way there I will find the most magnificent place to stay and spend my vacation, Lands In Love.

In about an hour and a half drive, I saw this big sign for hotel & resort in the middle of the cloud forest which includes an adventure center and international restaurant.
I drove in just for a quick look and a bite to eat , but after tasting one of the hotel’s
specials ( Mexican Taco in this case ) I had to stay.
I didn’t regret my decision after entering the room.
Large space, beautifully design, very clean room with big screen cable TV, coffee machine , mini bar and natural clean water . I slept like a baby.

The highlight of it all was waking next day to the cloud forest view, just next to your door a huge valley covered with giant clouds rising up as the day goes by

The staff was extremely friendly and all the activities of the hotel were set to my convenient , including the most exiting Tarazan swing and twin zip lines competition .

The tour desk of the hotel set me up with all the tours of Arenal , and help me choose and reserve a hotel room at my next stop Puntarenas .

I truly recommend having the Israeli food, humus and also you should try the lasagna.

The rafting was also a lot of fun and don’t miss out taking the trails down to the hidden
valley and its waterfalls .

All and all it was a great experience and I’m sure I will return to Lands in love

Had a wonderfull time at this resort, main reason was the tours that I did when I visited there, they have so many options - the canopy tour (best in CR!!!) Arenal tours, rafting, coffee plantetions, wild-life reserves they take care of you completely over there - and the tour desk guy is as nuce as it gets!!!

The food is awsome (try the lasagna - that's a 100% winner) or one of the deserts it's great!

Above all is the staff 20 Israeli friends (especially Naama the chef) they want to help all the time, smiling all the time just want you to feel as part of the family - and they sure did a good job with me!!

You should all come

The hotel is located in a very beautiful property in the cloud forest.
The rooms are very comfortable, with TV, coffee maker, mini bar, and also internet connection. Also the rooms are very clean and with beautiful decorations.
We spend a lot of time on the swimming pool and jacuzzi, very quiet and pleasant. The front desk guys were really helpful with tours and activities, and arrange all the transportation for us as well.
It is recommended to do the horseback riding there, it is going all the way to the river and it is very good. Also there are zip lines which are awesome, some of them in the forest and some of them very fast and high.
the vegetarian food was a delight – the first time I'm experiencing such and it was even better than meat in the lasagna case. I think the food there is brilliant, a selection of different dishes from all over the world, all fresh and tasty.
I recommend this hotel to everybody, because it offers quiet and tranquility and also exciting activities like the zip lines and the horseback riding.
Also the service is very personal, we were truly sorry to leave.

Hello! My friend and I didn't actually stay at the hotel, but we were en route to La Fortuna and we saw the lovely signs for the Hotel Lands in Love Restaurant- and we just had to pull over. Thankfully we did because the hotel was beautiful, the grounds were lush and scenic and the food was delicious. The staff were very kind and helpful. **I want to make a special mention about the chocolate cake that I enjoyed there. I am not exaggerating when I say that it was the best chocolate cake I have ever tasted in my life. So...in summary- the hotel looked lovely, the staff were great...but that chocolate cake- a truly 5 fork rating! =)

i'm spreading the word everywhere about that place, I had excellent time at Lands in love. The hotel located in a beautiful cloud forest.
I and my friend do a lot of hiking around the world, and at the hotel we took a 3 hours hike with Adonay the guide. It was great! Adonay knows a lot about nature and he explained us so well, took us to beautiful waterfall and a river and showed us rare types of hummingbirds and different types of tucans.
We also did a canopy tour that was real fun and enjoyed just relaxing and excellent food and service that the hotel has to offer.

One of the nicest places to stay in Costa Rica.

I visited "Lands in Love" a few days ago. I didn't plan it, but don't regret it. The place does not feet to any definition – it is not Costa-Rican, it is not Israeli like the staff that works there – it is different and it captures you. The atmosphere is relaxing, the view is breathtaking, the food is wonderful.
My recommendation – visit and spend the night there/ it is not far from the Arenal Volcano, it has the San Lorenzo Canopy, and it's many attractions.

was so glad to find this amazing place! I'm a vegetarian and the place offer a gourmet vegetarian food that you know to appreciate after 14 days of just eating rice and beans (and you never sure they didn't cook it with meat…). Beautiful view and lots of adventures around (canopy that has the longest cable in Costa Rica, beautiful trails to the forest and much more…), the workers are 25 vegetarians who came with their pets from Israel and are running the hotel, giving service that make you feel like you are invited to their own home. I strongly recommend
