Villa Toucan has 2 private bedrooms that can accommodate up to 4 people. The master bedroom includes a queen sized bed and the second bedroom has 2 twin size beds - perfect for kids - or can convert to one large king sized bed. Each bedroom has it's own private balcony overlooking the rainforest and large exterior outdoor bathrooms. The floors and cathedral ceilings are made of beautiful local hardwoods.
Both bedrooms come fully furnished with linens and pillows, beach and bathroom towels, clothing hangers, ceiling fans, a working desk, bedside tables and lamps, comforters for cool nights and hand picked literature on local topics of interest. There is also a hidden locked safe where you can protect your valuables.
The kitchen and dining areas of Villa Toucan overlook both the ocean and the forest. The room is open to the exterior and is naturally cooled by the oncoming ocean breezes. On the backside is a large sliding glass window that can be closed during times of uncertain weather.The kitchen comes fully equipped with a refrigerator, small oven, coffee machine, blender, pots & pans, plates, cups, glasses, silverware, dishes and cooking utensils. The cook top operates on gas. There is an outdoor barbecue for outdoor grilling.
The built in seating in the dining area offers a breathtaking view towards the ocean and canopy and easily sits up 4 people. Behind the sitting area is a beautiful mosaic glass ceramic art piece made by local artists Alejandro and Manuela, depicting life in the rainforest canopy.The Costa Rican coffee and sugar jars are always full at Villa Toucan - and we'll always have a cold beer in the fridge waiting for you upon arrival - our compliments!
