Finca Luna Nueva Lodge is an organic-biodynamic herbal estate and rainforest lodge preserving natural resources while farming organic ginger, turmeric, and other tropical fruits and vegetables. The lodge offers rustic yet luxurious rain forest lodge accommodations near Arenal volcano, as well as educational experiences to shape future generations.

At Finca Luna Nueva Lodge the main goal is to integrate all the local sustainable practices in agriculture, conservation, community, education and tourism, creating a world-class experience for visitors.

Finca Luna Nueva is comprised of 208 acres of undulating terrain, of these, 75 are dedicated to rotational planting and grazing, 8 acres are gardens, paths, and infrastructure, and the remaining 125 acres make up our rainforest reserve, which is connected via a biological corridor to the 50,000 plus acre Children's Eternal Rainforest and the Arenal and Monteverde National Park systems. As a result, the many creeks and tall forests on the farm are frequented by an abundance of exotic and fascinating species.

Within this majestic landscape Finca Luna Nueva strives to produce a healthy human community without negatively impacting our local environment. As a certified organic and biodynamic farm, we stand apart from other commercial agriculture systems. Our practice focuses on the intentional production of micro-organisms in our soil and strives to create a continuum between forest and field. We see farming as an art and a privilege and are continuously seeking new ways to live harmoniously in our environment.
