Mar y Selva Ecolodge is an immersion in the Costa Rica rain forest, with fresh clean smoke free air and all the comforts of home. Near virgin beaches, It has the only semi-Olympic size pool in the southern part of Costa Rica. Mar y Selva provides you with an excellent service. The view is of the Ballena Marine National Park and they are close to Corcovado National Park as well as Caño Island, the mangroves of the Sierpe and Térraba rivers, several beautiful beaches and surfing areas as well as refreshing waterfalls, including Nauyaca Falls.
The main house in Mar y Selva Ecolodge gives you a wonderful view of the ocean and the rainforest and is open and large enough for receptions, conferences, yoga classes/retreats, etc. Visitors can spend time here reading, playing board games, watching programs on our 52”TV, check your email or be treated to one of our Spa Treatments. The Restaurant Tierra Roja - Red Earth serves healthy food throughout the day.
Mar y Selva Ecolodge consists on 10 bungalows surrounded by trees (6 single and 2 sets of two adjoining bungalows – great for families or groups of friends). The howler monkeys and the toucans will wake you every morning, as will a myriad of other birds, butterflies and other small animals and reptiles of the forest. Each bungalow has A/C and a fan, a Queen or King size bed, a Full size futon, hot water with tub or shower, hair dryer, safe, small fridge, and a private terrace. High speed Wi-Fi is available throughout.
