A stay at Mango Tree Villas & Spa Costa Rica will put you in the middle of the ecological magnificence of this area, near to Ojochal. Dominical, a surfing town. They are half way between, beautifully set back from the beach with a view and yet close to all your needs. The setting is private, elegant with tropical gardens and a river surrounded by a jungle.

The Mango Tree Spa is a great place to enjoy the awesome area of Southern Pacific Costa Rica. It is a short (8 min) and beautiful drive off the Costanera highway, and away from the tacky beach scenes of Dominical and Uvita. My family of four (children 20 and 10) stayed there in December 2011 and are happy to write a most favorable review. We have not only found a place to stay on return visits, but have also made a new friend in Rosemary, the owner. She is a very interesting person and we enjoyed talking to her about her eclectic life history and accomplishments. She was very helpful with activities and advice so you don't have to worry about things to do or places to see. We chose to relax and enjoy her pool and covered rancho area. The location is so peaceful and relaxing we didn't want to do our usual routine of trying to see everything around the corner or over the mountain. The villa was perfect for our needs. The rooms were much larger than expected and our balcony was at tree-top so we could watch the beautiful birds and butterflies. We miss hearing the calls of the tucans in the evening. There are many restaurants for all budgets within a half-hour drive and the kitchen is well furnished if you want to cook your own meals. We did a little of both. This was our seventh vacation in Costa Rica and the first place we have stayed that is definitely a repeater. Go there and you will also be anxious to recommend it to others as we do.
