Our Hatha Vinyasa yoga class is held in an open air, covered yoga studio overlooking Montezuma's central park. On quiet evenings, birds, monkeys and crashing ocean waves can be heard in the background. Yoga is open to all levels and all mats and props are provided.
Our Spanish program consists of 2 hours of class room study and 2 hours of applied learning each day. Applied learning can come through games, hikes, movies, debates, scavenger hunts, cooking local cuisine, etc. All with the purpose of increasing vocabulary, enhancing conversational skill and using acquired lessons from previous classes. We teach up to 6 levels depending on necessity with a maximum of 6 students per level (usually 2-4).
Surfing class is for all levels and is mostly centered around Playa Grande, just north of Montezuma. Since the beach is located within a nature reserve, our surf cabina complex is the only construction around. No houses plus no roads equals no crowds. No onlookers and no one competing for waves. Add the sandy beach bottom and 30 surf boards of all sizes and you can't ask for much more. Once everyone's ready and willing, we'll take you to explore some other nearby breaks with our surfing van as well. For more experienced surfers, check out our privately guided surf safari.
We are the only fire dancing school in Central or South America. Most of our classes teach fire poi but we do offer workshops throughout the year for staff and other props. If you don't know what poi is, check it out on youtube and prepare to be mesmerized. It's a fun way to find flow, challenge the brain and your coordination, have some fun and impress your friends.
We offer CMAS Scuba Certification which is equivalent with and compatible to the PADI Open Water Diving Certification. CMAS is the original diving academy begun by the great Jacques Coustaeu. With a CMAS certification, you can dive at any PADI or CMAS dive center worldwide and continue to advanced diving courses with CMAS or PADI as well. Here you can see many tropical reef fish as well as turtles, dolphins, rays, whales, a huge population of puffer fish and much more!
