Hotel Pasatiempo is a beautiful boutique hotel in Playa Tamarindo, in the Guanacaste province. This hotel is located just 4 minutes from the beach. Hotel Pasatiempo is recently built, so notice the central pool with a light blue, the restaurant with excellent French chef under a thatched roof. The hotel is surrounded by a large garden with lush tropical colors. The rooms have air conditioning, hot shower, flat screen TV and new cable. Hotel Pasatiempo has free wireless internet for all our customers and a safe in every room. Hotel Pasatiempo has the best rates around the town of Tamarindo.

Best service for a smaller hotel!!!!
You can stop looking if you like smaller casita type one story pool access rooms (24 units) in a great garden setting with your own front porch with chairs and room for your hammock.
Excellent food and fair prices to rival any in town.
The rooms are newely remodeled and very clean. the pool and palapa bar/restaurant are fantastic.
The owners and staff combine to proudly present their product with grace and a great sense of humor.
They can and do assist with all your travel needs from years of travel agent experience. Need a car or adventure tour, they book them right there for you. have a proplem and they are on the phone as your advocate to get the proper results with you in mind.
one of the best hotels anywhere that know customer service.
I felt like part of a fun family.

Spent a terrific week at the Pasatiempo. The open-air bar is the center of social activity at the hotel. Food is served all day long. Prices are affordable. Staff is friendly and hard-working. Beer is cold, booze is full strength, there are always people there to talk to. Music night is Tuesday, when the Pasatiempo is the place to be in Tamarindo. Highly recommended for a visit or a stay.
