Rooms at Trogon Lodge
Trogon’s rooms are spread along the property, duplex style featuring a relaxing view of either the forest or the Savegre River. All the comfortable rooms have private bathroom with hot-water shower and a heating unit, which become really necessary in the area’s chilly nights.
Standard Rooms and Superior Standard rooms are available. Additional to the comforts of the standard room, the standard superior room is an independent unit with ample accommodations, king size bed, private bathroom with Jacuzzi overlooking outdoors.
The family-style restaurant El Quetzal serves a selection of high quality Costa Rican and International food. At the new bar area, one can enjoy tranquil garden and river views, as well as delicious fresh coffee-based drinks and cocktails. Many other drinks are also available.
During a stay at Trogón Lodge, visitors can also enjoy the look out point for great forest views as well as one (or all!) of the three different nature trails, where they will immerse into the cloud forest to enjoy the flora of the area, including ferns, several species of orchids, centennial oak trees, bromeliads and the opportunity of getting close to nature in this virgin area.
The Canopy tour is a wonderful opportunity to view the forest from a different perspective, while having fun zipping the lines.
