La Tortuga Lodge provides a unique custom experience for every traveler. Gourmet food, trained wait staff and accomadating guides make your stay unbelievably relaxing. We went in March, the dry season. We saw banana processing, coffee growing, farming using horses, steep, unpaved roads and proud Ticos. The lifestyle we saw is fading fast throughout Costa Rica in the name of "progress". If Costa Rica will protect the precious flora and fauna that still lives, people will flock in larger numbers each year. Soon, like America, tourists will have to have a number to enter every Costa Rica national parks!
