Would never recommend one of Occidental's resorts. Beautiful place but lousy room, no towels and they ran out of alcohol several times. Worst part was we had cash robbed from our locked safe in our room and staff was very reluctant to help. They finally agreed to file claim with insurance if we made report with local authorities, which we did, wasting an entire day of our vacation. No word from anyone and our emails and phone calls are ignored. Basically we were lied to to keep us quiet and we are still out our spending money for the trip. A very bad experience. If you go to this resort, take your own towels, alcohol and NO cash!

The resort is amazing. It is so beautiful, and the employees were great. The food and drinks were wonderful, too. It is very secluded, which is nice, but it is a drive to civilization.
