This small, charming hotel is run by a young Swiss couple. The rooms are clean, well presented, and originally decorated. Its small, intimiate atmosphere creates an ideal environment in which to relax when in Puerto Viejo. Upon arrival, we were immediately made to feel welcome. In the possible event of unpredicable weather on the Caribbean coast, Los Sueños is an ideal place to spend a rainy day. Some rooms have hammocks suspended from the walls, others have a front terrace with hammocks and rocking chairs. The artistic talents of the owner have been put to good use, and you can relax not only in comfort but in a pleasing aesthetic surrounding. Los Sueños was also one of the cheapest places I found to stay in Puerto Viejo, and by far the best value for money. I would thoroughly recommend it to anybody who is needing a nudge in the right direction.
