Views from this place were great. The bungalows themselves are very old (at least ours was). Had a musty smell and there was black dust coming out of the air conditioner -- we actually wondered if it was mold at one point! They cleaned off the bed but did not fix the air conditioner and we were never told was it was. Also, don't eat from the mini bar -- they will charge you even though it's provided!! The lighting was very dim too. Good points: the restaurant was decent, had a good breakfast included and it had a pretty pool. Should I go back to Arenal, I would choose another place to stay.

Me parece que el hotel no ofrece nada fuera de lo comun, las comidas son muy simples y no de muy buena calidad, para el dinero que uno paga.

My family and I had the opportunity to stay here on a recent visit to Arenal. The hotel is lovely. The amenities, staff, and view are all exceptional. My children especially enjoyed the view of Arenal at breakfast. The only note I would make on our stay is that the volcano was active on the other side. While the view is unrestricted from the hotel, we were only able to see smoke. To see the actual rock and lava flows we had to drive to the other side of Arenal.

nunca imaginamos que por el dinero pagado en este hotel , la atencion de todo el personal , fuera tan excelente , la amabilidad , la simpatia , la calidad humana demostrada por los colaboradores del mismo es incomparable, se nota la preocupacion de los mismos para que la experiencia vivida por mis familiares y mi persona en este hotel sea inolvidable , sabemos que no sera la primera y ultima , seguramente la proxima vez que vuelva a visitar la zona de la fortuna , no tenga que buscar hotel , porque estamos seguros de voler a ese magnifico lugar.

This is an amazing hotel. The views of the volcano from the rooms is amazing. I was there for four nights and I saw the volcano erupt every night. It was unbelievable watching the red lava flow down the mountain. We were so close too. I would suggest that you stay at this hotel.
