This beautiful resort overlooks the Pacific Ocean for stunning evening sunset views. The Alma del Pacifico Beach Hotel & Spa only has 20 guestrooms, but it doesn't shirk on amenities. From daily housekeeping to a free continental breakfast, you'll feel at home in this luxurious facility in Esterillos Este. The hotel is on the beachfront, but it offers tropical gardens and terraces where you can sit in shade and comfort during the hotter part of the day.
Onsite, the resort offers a restaurant with kid-friendly dining options. There is a bar and lounge on the beach to enjoy a cocktail while relaxing before or after dinner. The on-site spa has four treatment rooms with space for couples' massages. Request a massage on the beach for a truly invigorating experience.
Alma del Pacifico is very kid-friendly, beyond offering dining options for the little ones, there is also a children's pool. Infant beds and cribs are free upon request. Pets stay free but be sure to let the facility know that you have a pet arriving with you.
The resort has horseback riding on site, as well as surfing and boogie boarding. The Pacific Coast is a great place for surfing and all types of water sports. The water is calm in Esterillos Este, making it perfect for beginners. If you need more of a challenge, you can go down the coast a few kilometers to a beach called Playa Bejuco that features some of the great surfing. Kayaking and rafting services are close to the resort.
Alma del Pacifico has concierge service for tours and ticket assistance while you're enjoying a Costa Rican vacation. You can also store luggage in the hotel if you take a short excursion while you're in country. The hotel can even help you plan your wedding on the beautiful sandy, white beaches for an event you'll never forget.

Deluxe Beachfront Villa at Alma Del Pacifico
Alma del Pacifico offers three different types of rooms for your stay. Each room has a 32-inch LCD-TV, cable TV channels, free in-room Wi-Fi and local calls. Enjoy the comforts of home with in-room air conditioning and climate control, a ceiling fan, minibar, coffeemaker and bathrobes. When you need to shut out the world for a daytime nap, you'll have blackout drapes to let you rest. Refrigerators with free bottled water are also in each room.
Each room is individually decorated with beautiful mosaic tile in the bathrooms and local artwork on the walls. Bathrobes and towels are included for comfort after a shower or a dip in the pool.
Garden Bungalow - There are two sizes of the garden bunglaows. One has just one king bed and a sofa bed, while the other has two full beds and a sofa bed. Each villa has a private terrace, small kitchenette and beautiful garden views.
Beachfront Villas - The size of a small apartment with stunning views of the beach, the beachfront villas easily sleep two adults and two children in comfort. Each villa has a private terrace, small kitchenette and amazing ocean views.
Deluxe Beachfront Villas - This villa is the same as the Beachfront Villa but the private terrace has a private pool / Jacuzzi that overlooks the amazing ocean view.
Beachfront Bungalow - This room has two full beds to sleep four adults. It does feature a small sitting area and kitchenette and a private terrace with a Jacuzzi where can look at the ocean while in the Jacuzzi.
Spa at Alma - The spa is open daily with four treatment rooms, including rooms for couples. You can also request a massage on the beach.
Mosaic Restaurant - This beachfront restaurant requires reservations. Specializing in international cuisine, it also features a children's menu.
Manuel Antonio National Park - This beautiful national park is just 38 km away from Alma del Pacifico. It's home to three-toed sloths, white-faced capuchin monkeys and hundreds of species of tropical birds. Enjoy hiking in the mountains or walking on the beach.
Horseback Riding - Horse rentals are on site
Water Sports - The hotel offers two outdoor pools, but surfing, boogie boards and kayaking are all available in the area.
Golf - Both disc golf and traditional golf are available locally. Just north of Jacó is a great golf course called La Iguana Golf Course.
Sport Fishing - Excellent sport fishing is available from the nearby port of Quepos.

"This is our second time at Alma in a year. We have traveled the world and can't say enough about the people and hospitality here at the resort and the people of Costa Rica. Would highly recommend to anyone.Beach is beautiful and never crowded, food is wonderful, villas are over the top! Cant wait to come back again! Jaco and Quespos have anything you need. And our only a short drive north or south. We recommend getting a driver to go from San Jose to the Alma.They can arrange, and then renting a car at Alma. Again Alma will arrange to have your car brought right to the resort. Driving away from San Jose is a breeze. Not so in San Jose. Come you'll love it!!! "

"Beautiful hotel close to other nice beaches. Spa was very relaxing and amazing ocean view from the restaurant. The fact of having 2 swimming pools is nice too. Staff was very nice with us and typical breakfast gallo pinto was delicious."

"Pura Vida! I stayed there for 2 nights and I must say that I love the beach it is on. Esterillos has the most wonderful sunsets. Very close to San Jose and the food was unforgettable. Very spacious rooms too. "
