Barcelo Tambor Beach is located on the beach of Bahia Ballenas. This fabulous beach is in the province of Puntarenas at only one hour of the city of San Jose, then takes the ferry in Caldera, after one hour in the ferry you will be our hotel .Barcelo Playa Tambor has won the Blue Flag certification. This depends on the high quality and cleanliness of the beach. Barcelo Playa Tambor offers a lot of facilities like swimming pool, theatre, day and light entertainment, nightclub and a ecological park. Relax on the jacuzzi, spa,beauty salon and gym. Barcelo Playa Tambor number one activity is the Barcy Kids Club where all kids can enjoy activities all day long.

Fue inolvidable. Las veces que he podido ir al Barceló Playa Tambor lo he pasado de maravilla. El personal es muy amable y servicial. Gracias por esa atención tan maravillosa. No pierdo la esperanza de volver a ir.

We went to Costa Rica for our honeymoon and really enjoyed it. The hotel was great, the people were nice, and the area was beautiful. I definitely plan on returning.
