When you are craving a Costa Rica getaway, Cabinas Jimenez hits the spot. Resting along the shores of the Gulfo Dulce, this sweet retreat offers both luxury and adventure in equal measure. Whether you want to trek through the rainforest or relax in the sunshine, you can follow your every whim at Cabinas Jimenez.

Corcovado National Park is a fascinating ecosystem teeming with raw natural beauty. Full of trails to hike and sights to see, it is one of the most biologically diverse places in the world. It also happens to be easily accessible from Cabinas Jimenez. You can work with the hotel staff to plan day trips to Corcovado, leaving behind any luggage you will not need. After you have experienced the magic of the rainforest, you can return to a comfortable bed and your own bathroom.

If you are looking for a different sort of adventure, there are many to be had in the Osa. Go for a horseback ride with your travel companions or slip beneath the waves for a snorkeling session. Witness the inner workings of a chocolate farm in action or watch whales and dolphins swim through the waves. Take a boat to the Osa Wildlife Sanctuary or take surfing lessons at Playa Matapalo. Try your luck at fishing or see if you can strike it rich while panning for gold. You can even borrow bikes or kayaks for free from the hotel and use them to explore the surrounding beaches, town and bays.

Of course, you do not have to leave Cabinas Jimenez at all to enjoy the vacation of a lifetime. From the airy rooms to the placid beaches, every nook and cranny of the hotel exudes tranquility. Bright butterflies and birds flutter through the vibrant trees, and inviting hammocks are scattered throughout the grounds. Listen to the roar of the waves as you rest on the beach or enjoy the serenity of our cozy pool. After a rejuvenating day by the water, you can watch the sun settle into the ocean and head back to your cabina for an evening of fun.

" The people that run Cabinez are highly motivated to make sure that your stay and vacation goes off with out a hitch. Chris is the best of all, he is what we like to call "The Captain that knows what happenin". He takes your getway seriously. He either can do it for you or knows someone who can. The views from the rooms are photogenic and as for the tours they have will offer memories that last a life time. The rooms are clean and air conditioned, the grounds are cleaned daily, and lets not forget the pool, cool and clean. Remember when you are in Puerto Jimenez Cabinez Jimenez is the place to stay."
