It is a beautiful hotel. All the staff was friendly and helpful. Alejanda in customer service and Riccardo especially went out of their way to be helpful. Hotel is remote but I knew that when I booked it. This is the 5th time I have stayed at a Riu and this was the best one of all. The food was excellent. The Italian restaurant was my favorite but all the restaurants had good selection of food. The fish here was better than any other all inclusive I've stayed at. The shuttle to Coco Beach area is only $15 round trip. Unlike many hotels we were not bothered by people trying to get us to buy something. There were people selling things but they left you alone if you politely told them no. The spa and the massages were absolutely fantastic.

Very isolated location. No sense of local culture. Shuttle to nearest town long ride & dusty & bumpy View from hotel unspectacular.
