The hotel has fourteen non-smoking rooms, each with its own decorative mural, handcrafted furniture, artwork, and other special touches. Master Suite – There are five unique master suites that can accommodate three to five guests. Each are appointed with roomy sitting areas, private decks, full bath with bidet, king-sized bed, and stunning views.

Villa – When traveling with a larger group or family, you can opt to book an entire villa that can sleep up to six people. A villa combines two junior suites, giving guests two king-sized bedrooms, two sitting areas, two full baths, and two private decks with tropical views.

You can stay on-site and relax at the El Targuá Wellness Retreat or sunbathe by the pool, but with so much to do in Costa Rica, you may want to do some sightseeing. Finca Rosa Blanca has a complimentary tour and excursion planning service to customize an itinerary for you. Some of your tour options include:

Organic Coffee Tour – This coffee tour is available at Finca Rosa Blanca and includes a “cupping” session to learn more about how this precious bean is grown, roasted, and brewed.

Cultural Highlands Tour – Learn more about the nearby colonial towns of Heredia and Barva. You can explore the local markets, visit the Museo de Cultura Popular, and watch the artisans craft masks for community festivals.

Zip-line Canopy Tours – Experience the cloud forest from up above as you zipline through the treetops past the lush tropical scenery. If you prefer to keep your feet on the ground, you can hike through the forest and along the river’s edge.

Volcano Tour – Irazú Volcano is the only active volcano in Costa Rican and is quite convenient to the hotel. For a more exclusive experience, however, you can visit the Barva Volcano, which is even closer.

River Rafting Tour – If wet and wild is more your style, you can take a rafting excursion to one of the rivers in the area. Less adventurous guests may enjoy the pace of a floating tour for similar sights without the adrenaline rush.
