Great location at Hotel Playa Bejuco

Located on beautiful Bejuco beach, this historic hotel has charm and character as well as all the modern amenities you need to enjoy a comfortable stay. The location of this resort could not be better if it tried. Located right on the sand and a minute’s walk away from the crystal clear waters of the Pacific, visitors get the real Costa Rican experience when they book a stay with Hotel Playa Bejuco.

If you’re not crazy about taking a dip in the Pacific, go for a swim in the hotel’s pool, large enough to do laps in or for families to splash about. At night, relax in the tub while your little ones splash about in the kiddie pool.

Enjoy fine dining at Sunsets Restaurant, where chefs cook up gourmet fair from 5:00 until 10:00 pm everyday. For breakfast and lunch, hit up the Poolside Bar and Restaurant, where meals are served a la carte with ice-cold juices, water, beer and spirits. If you’re looking to put a bit more happy in your hour, visit the poolside part from noon until 5:00 pm.

Don’t spend all of your time within the walls of the resort though! Book a horseback ride along the beach, surf Bejuco’s world famous waves or take a bike ride up to town. You can also schedule an ATV excursion or a tour beneath the canopy. Rent a boat or jet ski for the day and cut through the waves while enjoying an entirely different view of the rainforest and beach.

If you want to get a feel for Costa Rican culture, head over to nearby Jacó, the gateway to the country’s national parks and a city renowned for its surf and night life. Explore Costa Rica’s wild life via a trip to Carara National Park. Get a glimpse of crocodiles at Crocodile Bridge, peek in on macaws in their national habitat and admire the boat-billed herons as they stand regally in the water. If you’re a bird watcher, Carara National Park will be your newfound haven.

The hotel also has a rec room with pool table and foosball table, perfect for teens who want to exercise their independence in a safe way. It also has a playground on which young children can run around and burn off energy.

Guests to Hotel Playa Bejuco will stay in one of three rooms: the Deluxe Double Room, Deluxe Triple Room or Deluxe Family Room. However, all guests enjoy the following amenities regardless of which suite they stay in:

All rooms are elegantly furnished in a classic European style and with accents from nature. Each has a view of either the ocean or the pool. Each room has plenty of windows to allow for optimal Costa Rican sunshine.

Deluxe Double Room – The Deluxe Double Room is small yet cozy and sleeps two. It is furnished with a single queen or king bed, depending on your preference, and comes with a television, two chairs, a refrigerator, a small table and an armoire in which you can hang your clothes.

Deluxe Triple Room – The Deluxe Triple Room sleeps three to four guests. You can either request a single queen and one single bed or two doubles. As in the Double Deluxe, there are two chairs, an armoire for hanging clothes, a small table, a television and a refrigerator.

Deluxe Family Room – Many of the Deluxe Family Rooms are split level, with a loft above or below for socializing. On the first level there are two double beds, two chairs, an armoire for hanging clothes, a small table, a television and a refrigerator. These rooms sleep four.
