Tilajari Hotel is one of the best semi all inclusive hotels in Costa Rica and the only one that offers 32 deluxe suites, 40 standard rooms and 4 family rooms, a bar, an international restaurant, beautiful swimming pools, a gift shop, sport facilities, botanical gardens, butterfly garden, conference/meeting rooms and many other services, all of this in their 35 acres along the banks of the San Carlos River.

Tilajari Hotel and Resort is one of the principal vacation spots for Costa Rican families on weekend excursion trips. They have approximately 150 family members who have right to use the pools, tennis courts, and the restaurant, a cross cultural experience with the opportunity to meet different affluent people. Due to our size and variety of activities, it is never too crowded to truly enjoy your experience. In fact, we could easily double our hotels capacity without making Tilajari a crowded facility.

Located in the lush San Carlos Valley in the north central region characterized by mountains, plains, rivers, lakes, rainforest and some outstanding natural wonders as the Arenal Volcano, Hot Springs, Fortuna Waterfall, Venado Caves and Caņo Negro Wildlife Refuge. Set among 35 acres of magnificent gardens and tropical fruit trees overlooking the San Carlos River, guests can see american crocodiles / caimans, giant iguanas and an immense variety of tropical birds. This makes it a garden paradise for natural tourism.

Accommodations at Tilajari Resort

All hotel rooms are equipped with air conditioning, ceiling fan, TV via satellite, hot water, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box and terrace. Plus DVD, coffee maker set, mini-bar, sitting area and queen size beds in our deluxe suites.

Standard Rooms
Two double beds, hot water. Telephone, TV and hair dryer, radio and alarm clock.

Standard King Size Deluxe
A king size bed, hot water, telephone, TV and hair dryer, radio and alarm clock.

Junior Suite Deluxe
Two queen size bed and mini bar with refrigerator, reading table, coffee maker, 25 inches T.V, DVD, air conditioning with remote control and hair dryer, radio and alarm clock.

Family Suite
Two double beds, air conditioning, TV, telephone, hot water, radio and alarm clock, a small living room and a wide open terrace over viewing the river. It also has three individual beds in a loft, this area has natural ventilation. Recommended for children between 7 and 14 years. This suite also has the option of a connecting room.

The restaurant at Tilajari Resort offers the best of the international cuisine as well typical Costa Rican dishes. The chef has worked for some of the finest hotels in San Carlos and will gladly prepare your favorite dish, while you are having a tropical drink, and enjoying the rich variety of birds and flowers around our open air restaurant.
