"I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our time in Costa Rica. We were very impressed with the tour which your organised for us. The hotels were very good, the drivers were punctual and courteous and the guides were amazing - their knowledge and command of English was fantastic.
I have already recommended your company to friends who are planning a trip to Costa Rica.

"Consider a package deal - No contacts in Costa Rica? Limited time and budget but must see Arenal? Signals to invest in a 'packaged' trip. Why I recommend GoVisitCostaRica?
- Personalized welcome! (Who does that nowadays?) - A lovely couple met me at the airport, took me to my hotel, explained the package and schedules and provided local contact phone numbers.
- Friendly, timely and efficient attention with an ‘extra-plus’. I left a pocketbook at a hotel and the guides arranged its return. Also, I asked for an addition to my package during the trip and was duly accommodated.
- Bilingual agents to facilitate dialogue and arrangements if your Spanish is a bit rusty.
- Options on lodging and days to accommodate my budget and time constraints. Only had 5 days and under $1000 for a solo traveler who wanted to see Arenal and hot springs and cloud forests. They made it work!"
On a whim, I decided to tour San José during the morning before taking my departure flight in the afternoon. Lifeline to Mario at Go Visit Costa Rica – he coordinated a tour with an amazing student-based organization, ChepeCletas (“Chepe” nickname in Spanish for “José”, “Cletas” abbreviation for bicycles in Spanish). One of their guides squeezed two hours of her time on a Thursday morning to show me around the cultural and historical known and hidden aspects of “Chepe” – one of the best walking tours I’ve ever taken – complete with a drop-off at the Pre-Columbian Museum of Gold and pre-arranged transportation back to my hotel on time for my departure to the airport.
Safe and fun travels!"
