Located in beautiful La Fortuna and overlooking the Arenal Volcano, Arenal Springs Resort & Spa features 90 smoke-free guestrooms as well as a wide range of other amenities. One of the most popular is the resort's natural hot springs area. Surrounded by tropical gardens, the area includes a wet bar, waterfalls that offer the perfect hydro-massage and a relaxing Jacuzzi. A total of three freshwater pools are dotted along the property as well. Children's pool areas are also available.

Yogis won't be able to pass up the resort's yoga deck, which features high ceilings, dark wood floors and natural surroundings complete with aromatic incenses. The open-air gazebo provides classes six days a week for guests who want to learn more about how yoga can soothe the mind, body and spirit.

As the name implies, Arenal Springs Resort & Spa loves to pamper guests in Natria Spa. Private bungalows with high ceilings and tropical gardens provide the backdrop while professional massage therapists perform a range of services. Try the full-body chocolate massage to stimulate circulation and create more radiant skin. Facials and many other services are also available.

After a long day of exploring the nearby rainforest or hanging out at the pool, you'll want to grab a bite to eat. The hotel offers three restaurants. Ti-Cain's open-air design offers a relaxing backdrop as you chow down on a large breakfast that includes a variety of traditional Costa Rican dishes alongside American favorites. The Italian Corner provides comfortable armchairs while you taste fine wines to go with your pastas and pizzas. Finally, Sakana Sushi Bar & Restaurant, located in the pool area, offers sushi art that is almost too beautiful to eat.

Throughout your trip, you have full access to the resort's souvenir shop. In addition to selling art created by local artists and other amazing gifts to take home to family and friends, the shop also offers swimwear, sunscreen, snacks, medication and other personal hygiene items you may have forgotten to bring with you.

"My wife just gushes over this place. We absolutely loved the view and the cottages. The staff made swans out of towels! The shower had plants and flowers! Our front porch rocking chairs faced a massive volcanoes! We had our friends nearby but in another cabin. The dining room was open air. We have no complaints at all. The staff was very helpful in arranging local transportation and recommending sites to see. We would definitely return here again."
