"This is one of the best beach resorts I have ever stayed at. My wife and 2 children absolutely loved this resort. It is in the forest but right on the beach. You actually have 2 different beaches to choose from that are right in front of the resort. The location is amazing but the service is even better. You can tell all the employees are friends and they love working at Arenas del Mar.

All this makes for an unforgettable experience. Try it for yourself!"

"Only one word to describe this place, unbeatable. I must preface that statement by saying I have stayed at some very nice places across the globe like four seasons,westin,etc...No matter the location or level of service Arenas Del Mar has them beat. The moment you get there you are greeted by staff with a delicous juice drink served with a bamboo straw. As you look out from the pool to the ocean you have several rock formations in which to enjoy. The rooms are spectacular as is the service, no detail is left unnoticed. Nesteled along a hillside and in the middle of a jungle you get the feeling right away this is no ordinary resort. In addition, we toured the Manuel Antonio national forest and once finished we opted for walking back along the beach rather than getting a ride. Along the beach signs of wildlife appear out in the open, monkeys, iguanas, various birds,etc....Out of the three places we stayed during our two week trip this location stands out even though we stayed at a higher rated resort in Arenal. I would give this a perfect ten rating and would highly recommend anyone desiring a memorable trip to include this destination. "
