The container design of El Faro means every room is a room with a view. A glass patio door is all that stands between you and the classic Costa Rican panorama. The rooms are in two tiers and if you are closer to the beach, then you are also directly beneath El Faro Restaurant.

The food here is top-notch and you will be hard pressed to find anything that combines modern style with local flavor anywhere else. There is also room service available during certain hours, but the concierge service means you do not have to spend too much time planning in advance when you want to dine in.

On days when you need water and you need it right away, there are two pools on the hotel grounds with plenty of space to relax and swim. The edgeless illusion on the beachside pool lets you enjoy the curated water while viewing the surf nearby. When you're ready to tackle the waves, it takes just a few minutes to walk down to the shore.

In addition to the nearby beach and nature park, you also have Rancho Típico don Juan, ADR Adventure Park and the Finca Naturales Wildlife Refuge all within five miles of the hotel. Studio room at El Faro Beach Hotel

With five rooms types to choose from, you can customize your stay depending on the number of people you are vacationing with and how much room you want. These rooms are the studio, standard, superior, double deluxe and suite. No matter which room you choose, you will have access to all the technological amenities of home. This includes WiFi, flat-screen television with cable channels, phone, air conditioning and coffee maker. Your comfort is also taken care of with a hot water bath, hair dryer, mini bar and more.

Studio - A cozy room that makes the most of its available space. The bed comfortably sleeps two and everything else you need is within easy reach, including a microwave and the bathroom. When it's time to relax, watch television from your bed or open the curtains for a beautiful view.

Standard - For a little more space, book a standard room. This comes with shelving storage you can use for personal items or to display decorations. A privacy curtain gives you security while sleeping and can be pulled back to let light in during the day.

Superior - To pamper yourself and really stretch out, consider upgrading your standard room to a superior. This room has the same bed and storage book case, but also has a countertop for more storage and breakfast seating.

Double Deluxe - Traveling with a group? The double deluxe has two of our beds separated by a book case which allows you to sleep four to a room. All the standard amenities are included.

Faro Restaurant - Food and drinks inspired by a fusion of local cuisine and modern cooking methods are sure to delight any pallet.

Pool - With a wide patio around it, this pool works for both swimming and relaxing. All guests are invited to this water attraction, so you may just meet someone new.

Local Attractions - Both the beach and Manuel Antonio National Park are nearby, providing the chance for some fun in the sun while you learn about local culture.

White Water Rafting – There are some great rivers nearby to enjoy some top notch white water rafting. Depending on conditions ages 6 and up can participate in this fun adventure.

Zip Lining / Canopy Tours – Enjoy the adrenaline while you zip through the canopy of the near by forest.

Whale watching – The ocean is a major attraction here in Manuel Antonio and you can get seasonally get on a boat to see some impressive whales.

Sailing and Snorkeling – You can either go snorkeling or go on a romantic sunset cruise on a catamaran and see one of Manuel Antonio’s gems.
