This luxury hotel is located steps away from the Pacific Ocean in the Guanacaste section of Costa Rica. The hotel is designed for adults only and can be the ideal spot for an incredible getaway for a weekend away with the girls or a much-needed couples’ vacation.

The property is located in Tamarindo, a top spot for visitors to Costa Rica looking for relaxation, adventure and nature. This is one of the best spots in Costa Rica for surfing, bird watching, sailing and finding protected species of animals. The hotel sits in a lush tropical garden, complete with a few thatched-roof huts lining the pool and common areas of the property.

During your stay, you’ll be able to see how the hotel has made eco-friendliness a focus in its mission. The property uses solar-powered heating systems for the pool and biodegradable soap and toiletries.

The main draw of the hotel is the beach, which is a few steps away. Besides forgetting your troubles on the warm sands of the beach, you can also enjoy swimming laps in the large pool or soaking in the comfort of the hot tub in your room. Set up shop at one of the poolside daybed cabanas and listen to the quiet sounds of nature all around you in between dips in the pool.

You can also indulge in fine dining during your stay at the hotel’s restaurant, La Plumeria. This upscale restaurant features breakfast, lunch and dinner and strives to please all tastes. Here, the primary focus for cuisine is on locally-sourced ingredients, such as seafood, tropical fruit and fresh ingredients. Hotel guests can also enjoy poolside drink service and a full breakfast buffet each day.

Once you venture out of your room, you won’t be sorry. Beyond the limits of the hotel, a new adventure awaits you in one of the most popular regions of Costa Rica. "I am a Costa Rican married to an American and since the first time that I took him to visit the Province of Guanacaste, he fell in love with the Jardin del Eden Hotel. We loved the apartaments were we had the opportunity to stay two times and one of the rooms were we stayed once. Every time that we have been there, we have had the time of our lives. The restaurant has great food and service. One spot that we loved was the swimming pool were we spent hours relaxing and having our cocktails. Two other characteristics of the hotel are that it is located in the middle of the town and just a few meters away from the beach. We are definitely planning on visiting the hotel again this year 2008. We simply love it. George and Beatriz Mounsey. "

"Hotel ideally situated, staff charming. lets hope we return. We initially planned to just spend one week of our honeymoon vacation at Jardin del Eden but after arriving we decided to stay 2.5 weeks. Everyone on staff (reception, concierge, housekeeping, restaurant, groundsmen) were so friendly and accomodated our every need. "

"Potentially a good hotel, but horrible missteps and misrepresentations by staff ruined a vacation.
Our vacation was sadly ruined because of some blatant lies. Upon reserving our rooms with this hotel via email and phone, we asked about potential construction which could effect the peace we were seeking. We were told all renovations were to be completed 10 days before our reserved dates. We reserved in late November for early January, and arrived to find what should be 6 more months of renovations in the works.
I have the Emial from the hotel telling us the construction was completed as proof of their intentional deception, and am contesting half of my room charges with American Express (and expect to recover).
The noise began at 6:45am just a few meters from our doorstep, and continued all day. Noise and dust permeated the entire property, effectively canceling out any peaceful environment you might guess exists from the hotel's web site.
Choose another hotel if you are traveling before June of 06.
Food was decent, but not extraordinary. Jacuzzi not operating.
