There are no Golf Course Resorts in Limon in the system.

The province of Limon is situated along Costa Rica’s Caribbean coast. What is so unique about this province and what makes it worth visiting is the distinct Afro-Caribbean culture found here. This part of the country, especially the southern end of the province, at times seems more Caribbean than Tico, with a majority of the population living here having West Indian roots. Another reason to come to Limon is because you can experience two different worlds at once. In the north are the Amazon like national parks of Tortuguero and Barra del Colorado, while to the south you are treated to stunning white sandy beaches.

Limon is the perfect place to kickback and relax, as well as have an adventure filled vacation. The national parks to the north offer some great wildlife watching opportunities, while to the south the town of Puerto Viejo de Talamanca is a great place to go surfing and have a good time after the sun sets. In the south of Limon, you can also enjoy some wonderful diving opportunities at Cahuita and Manzanillo.

There are no golf resorts in Limon at the moment, however, the beach properties in the southern end of the province are in high demand, which means sooner or later you will find a golf resort out here. Both foreign and local investors are keen to construct hotels and resorts in this part of the country taking advantage of the quiet serene tropical surroundings. In southern Limon a lot of property development has taken place, with tourists increasingly visiting this part of the country.

If you are looking to play a game of golf, your best bet is to enjoy the wonderful golf courses in San Jose, Heredia and North Puntarenas. Out here, swimming, snorkeling and diving are the most popular activities, along with enjoying the wonderful natural beauty to be found all around.
