Green Iguana Surf Camp
Costa Rica surfing is everything it promises to be. Green Iguana is more than just surfing and a surf school. Our surf camps offer a unique combination of fun, learning, and total relaxation, and are designed for everyone - from surfers of all abilities, to the traveler searching for a great vacation package.
Thrill seekers will delight in some of our non-surfing adventures as well, such as rainforest canopy zip-line tours, sea kayaking, and numerous waterfalls, some of which can be climbed up and either jumped off or rappelled down. Oh, and for those not searching for adventure, Dominical offers a world-class sunset over the ocean, as well as some of the most perfectly spaced palm trees under which one can stretch a hammock and relax to the sound of the waves.
Regarding surfing, Dominical and its surrounding beaches are packed with good surf spots, and are the ideal locations to learn to surf. Playa Dominical has the most consistent waves in Costa Rica. The surf is simply never flat here - with a wide variety of nearby beaches and reefs to choose from.
Area waves range from small, easy-to-ride rollers, just right for beginners, to larger, more challenging waves for the intermediate to advanced surfer. A few of the beaches Green Iguana ventures to include are: Playa Dominicalito, Playa Hermosa, Playa Guapil, and the beautiful cave-lined strand at Playa Ventanas. These are picture-postcard examples of tropical, palm-lined beaches, with incredible scenery, gentle, well formed waves, and local folks with never-ending smiles.

Green Iguana Surf Camp has extensive experience in providing the perfect Costa Rica surfing vacation for our guests, as our years in business have afforded us the opportunity to observe thousands of visitors from all points of the globe.
Package 1(our basic package) includes the following:
Beachside lodging at Diuwak Resort (standard rooms.
Enrollment in Green Iguana's surf school, and unlimited surfboard use.
Daily guided transportation to local beaches and surf spots, and transportation to and from San Jose / airport.
A Green Iguana t-shirt.
Fun side activities, including an excursion to the Pozo Azul waterfall, and a visit to Reptilandia Reptile Park.
* 10% discount for children 12 and under that are accompanied by a parent.
* 7-Day Packages include 5 days of surf instruction, 10-day packages include 7 days of instruction, and 14-day packages include 10 days of instruction.
* Packages without surf instruction are available
Package 2 Package Two includes the following:
Lodging at Diuwak Resort (upscale rooms).
Enrollment in GISC's surf school, and unlimited use of GISC equipment.
Daily guided transportation to local beaches and surf spots, and transportation to and from San Jose / airport.
A one hour introductory “Survival Spanish” lesson.
Activities including an excursion to the Pozo Azul waterfall and a visit to Reptilandia Reptile Park.
Premium tours, including a rainforest zip-line adventure, and a visit to the Arco Iris waterfall (May 1st to December 14th) or sea kayaking (Dec 15th – April 30th).
A one-hour professional therapeutic massage.
All breakfasts, and your choice of lunch or dinner at Diuwak Resort.
