Centrally located, Las Islas Lodge is within walking distance to many of the activities on the Osa Peninsula, a Costa Rican spot that National Geographic considers one of the most beautiful in the country. The family-friendly lodge provides a wide range of amenities.

Begin your stay by stepping into the cool waters of the lodge's on-site, outdoor pool. The pristine area is perfect for swimming with the kids or lounging in the sun poolside. A small garden and picnic tables provide the perfect backdrop for a picnic lunch, and the pool area's gorgeous palm trees attract a variety of bird species. You can also find fishing and bicycling on the lodge's grounds. Grab a pole and spend the day by the water or rent a bike to find your way around to the property or to one of the many nearby attractions, many of which the hotel can book and plan for you.

During the area's high season, Las Islas Lodge offers a delicious breakfast in the open-air dining area. The entire family can pull up their chairs to dine on traditional Costa Rican fair served by friendly staff members who are always ready with a smile. Restaurants are also abundant in nearby Puerto Jiménez. If you aren't sure where to start, the staff is always willing to provide recommendations based on the type of meal you're interested in eating.

Las Islas Lodge provides 10 guestrooms. All rooms feature night lamps and a wall clock for guests' convenience. A full, private bathroom offers a shower with hot water, and air conditioning and ceiling fans ensure cool comfort while guests sleep or relax in their rooms.

Each room is outfitted with a mini-refrigerator to keep drinks and snacks cool during guests' stay. Each accommodation also provides access to a terrace that allows guests to lounge around with their favorite drink and a good magazine. Hairdryers are available upon request, and free wireless internet and daily housekeeping are provided.

Deluxe Rooms - These rooms offer two queen beds or one queen bed and one single bed.

Activities

Sport Fishing - Las Islas Lodge provides many sport fishing services. Staff members can help you book inshore or offshore fishing adventures that last anywhere from a few hours to an entire day. You'll catch everything from monster marlin to roosterfish, rainbow runners or even small sharks.

Chocolate Tour - In nearby Puerto Jiménez, you'll find Rancho Raices. The owner, German, guides you through a tour of an organic farm, allowing you to taste many fruits, vegetables and, of course, chocolates along the way.

Osa Wildlife Sanctuary - Boat across the bay to Osa Wildlife Sanctuary, where you'll learn about efforts to rehabilitate orphaned or injured animals and return them to their natural habitats. During the boat ride, you may even come across dolphins or stop to go snorkeling.

Playa Platanares - Just south of town, the secluded beach of Playa Platanares offers a long stretch of quiet sand and shady palm trees. Spend the day relaxing by the waves or crashing through them to swim.
