Overview

Parador Resort & Spa
Parador Resort & Spa

Nestled among 12 acres of tropical rainforest and high above the Pacific Coast, Parador Resort & Spa is an award-winning resort that takes pride in offering responsible luxury. Restaurants, bars, spas and pools are just some of the many relaxing and enjoyable amenities this hotel has to offer, and that's before you consider its prime location near Manuel Antonio, known for its National Park and gorgeous beach. Parador Resort & Spa is a full-service resort.

While the resort's rooms are second to none, guests simply can't spend the entire day in their accommodations. There's too much to see and do. Many start at the three pools on the property. Each one overlooks the Pacific Ocean. One pool is perfect for a family day and includes a swim-up bar and restaurant. Two of the pools are adults only for those guests who prefer a more serene experience. Those who prefer the call of the ocean will be happy to know the beach is just a 10-minute walk from the property.

Dining is available in four full-service restaurants that serve local and international cuisine made with only the freshest ingredients. Several lounges and bars dot the property and make for perfect places to mingle and get to know other guests. If you want to host a wedding, retreat or another event in Manuel Antonio, Parador Resort & Spa is the place to do it. Staff members are experienced in planning the perfect event in the resort's meeting space, El Rey.

Of course, you can't forget to stop by the resort's on-site spa. The Pacific Spa features five separate treatment rooms, private lockers and complimentary fruit and drinks. Practice yoga by yourself or in a class, relax in the steam room or simply enjoy a variety of massages, wraps or body scrubs. Facials, waxing, hair services and makeup services are also available.

Parador Resort & Spa has all the amenities travelers have come to expect from such an establishment. Room service, security, babysitting, shuttles and free wireless internet and just some of the many options available. Guests can check in 24 hours a day, and up to two children aged five and under stay for free.

"It is a beautiful hotel in a nice location. I was there at the end of the rainy season, so it wasn't very busy and I got an excellent rate on one of the small rooms for myself and a friend. We ate breakfast and some lunches and one dinner there the food and service were very good. She is a native Spanish speaker and I am semiconversant but it wasn't an issue since most of the staff speak English. The view from the pool is great. Have a drink at the pool bar and enjoy! There are some nice local restaurants in Quepos I had the best tuna sashimi ever (caught that morning) at Restaurante Mar Luna. "

"This is where I usually stay in Manuel Antonio. Located at the end of a badly maintained road, it is away from the hustle and bustle of Quepos and Manuel Antonio. Helpful staff and a nice breakfast each morning."
