This scenicdrive passes for 30 minutes through the heart of Braulio Carrillo National Park, offering spectacular rainforest views. Justa few miles after the park, turn right onto our private road to enter our Conservation Park and private reserve.

General Information
Rise to tropical bird song and the music of the rainforest. We have ten modern bungalows handsomely equipped with either two single beds or one double bed (triple occupancy is also available upon request), private baths, hot water and terraces.

Built over a sturdy stone base and with wood f loors and a balcony, each bungalow is cozy and inviting. Our bungalow boasts unforgettable views of the forest, mountains and stars. Nature
abounds. Guests might receive a visit from an elegant Blue Morpho butterfly, the sweet scent of wild orchids, or the song of a rare bird. As the jungle’s music awakes visitors, they take advantage of our extensive hiking trails and take an early-bird nature walk, or they can be the
first ones to step aboard the Tram.

Because this is an ecological park, we strongly promote environmental conservation. As such, we do not allow air conditioning. We believe in providing the best possible experience within the forest, and part of that is intimacy with nature. In order to facilitate this, we do not offer services such as televisions or telephones within the bungalows. However, we are equipped with cellular phones and radio communication from the main building, should any situation require assistance.

"We opted for the canopy tour as an excursion from our Princess Cruise in late January 2009.
Although we were not privileged to see any animals during the tour (other than the beetle and viper that are likely kept at the tram entrance for observation) we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Our guide (Saul) was exceptionally pleasant and knowledgeable in regard to the area and vegetation. At the conclusion of the tram ride we enjoyed a delicious buffet in the restaurant. Although it did not rain while we were on the tram it did during the walk. Would we do it again - definitely."

"Early in March of 2006 my daughter and I went on the canopy tour that was offered. Our guide was pleasant and very knowledgable regarding the tropical forest and what it had to offer and what to look for. It was a bit intimading at first being in the gondola as I didn't particularly care being suspended by a single wire high in the air but my worries subsided as I detected how well this system was designed and how smoothly the ride actually was. We went mid-day so it was a little disappointing not to see any wildlife to speak of or birds that Costa Rica is known for. I believe if one were to go early or later in the day there would be better opportunities for this. However, the beauty of the tropical forest was definitely enough to be logged in my memory for years to come. This is definitely a "must do" for any tourist or anyone to do. In addition the staff was courteous, helpful and quite friendly.

Thank you."
