Monkeys & other Mammals in Costa Rica - Photo Gallery

Costa Rica is most famous for its diversity, including the animals that call the country home.

There are many places that monkeys and mammals call home in Costa Rica, including the forests in the national, protected parks.

Our monkeys and more photo gallery is going to have you ohhhhing and awwwing over some of the cutest (but still sometimes dangerous!) animals around.

Our Costa Rica animal photo gallery isn’t just about the animals, it is also about the locations that they call home.

The country works hard to protect and maintain its land so that the animals have a place to call home.

As you browse the photo gallery, look at the backgrounds too and take a moment to enjoy the beautiful landscape of Costa Rica.

We sent our photographers all over the country to capture some of the most interesting and inspiring photos of animals in their natural environment. They were able to capture some moments that are sure to capture your attention, include baby squirrel monkeys on the back of their mother, and a Spider Monkey jumping to a tree.

Other animals that we captured on film for this photo gallery include: White Faced Capuchin Monkeys, Howler Monkeys, Spider Monkeys bulls, dolphins, jaguar, and a variety of sloth species.
