The former capital of Costa Rica, Cartago lies just a short drive away east of San Jose. Many car rental agencies also deliver your car to your hotel, which means that you do not have to pick it up yourself. And while some rental agencies do have a ‘drop off’ fee, many companies also you deliver your car fee of cost.
