We did the Arenal Canopy Tour last November. In spite of not so great weather, we loved it. We rode to the launch point on horseback. The horses were decent. The guides were very nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. They spoke excellent English. The were very safety conscious and instructed us well in the proper use of the equipment. We felt that we were in good hands--they were professionals who knew what they were doing. The first time going across on the wire is a bit scary. But after the first one or two times, you start to relax and enjoy it. I was sorry it ended. We'd definitely do it again if we go back to Costa Rica. Other people in our group had been on canopy tours in other places and they said this was the best.
