The best vacation is a safe one, which is why I'll be using this section of my blog to offer up some tips on how to stay safe during your getaway to Costa Rica. Many of these suggestions, such as bringing plenty of water with you on a hike through the country's tropical rainforests, may seem obvious, but it might surprise you how many visitors overlook things like this! Others will be specific to certain areas and activities, like driving conditions in rural areas during the wet season, or knowing which snakes to steer clear of while exploring a national park.
Costa Rica is one of the safest countries in Latin America, so while you don't have anything to worry about when you visit, it's better to be safe than sorry. That's why you should check out my blog entries in this section before setting off on your tropical adventure.
