Perfect Yoga meditation on pristine beach
Here in Costa Rica, we are one with nature. You may be thinking - "You're a tree frog, of course you're one with nature!" - but even humans are well connected to the scenic beauty of the beaches and rainforests here. It's not hard. The abundant greenery and peaceful atmosphere of Costa Rica helps melt away the struggles of modern living: doesn't it seem like the perfect place to say "Ohm"? No matter where you're at in Costa Rica, there is likely a studio where you can take your downward dog to the shoreline. Whether you're a novice or a pro yogi, a Costa Rica yoga retreat or class can take your practice - and your vacation - to a whole new level.
Imagine waking up to the vibrant tropical sun and spending your early morning beach or poolside excursion practicing yoga. Many people come to Costa Rica all inclusive resorts specifically to practice yoga along the serene landscape, so there are many retreats available in the country; however, you can easily find a single class or weekly package. If you're traveling to a popular tourist destination, there is a very good chance you'll find a great class that takes place right on the beach or in a villa overlooking the beautiful nature of Costa Rica.

At Anamaya Resort, Anamaya is Sanskrit for “good health,” and that is what you'll experience at this yoga retreat. This spot is not for someone looking to party or experience the vibrant nightlife in Costa Rica. Here, you will find your inner peace and grow as an individual and a yogi. Anamaya is considered a “body, mind and spirit resort” where you can detoxify your life and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the region.
Bamboo Yoga Play
About three hours away from the San Jose Costa Rica airport by car, Bamboo Yoga Play is an eco-friendly sanctuary that offers private lessons, workshops and classes. Located in Playa Dominical on the Pacific Coast, this studio is surrounded by the Baru River and the lush, forested mountains. Although most classes take place in the open-air studio, beachside classes are also offered, as the shoreline is only a short walk away.
